TD Garden, often called "Boston Garden" and "The Garden", is a 19,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Boston, Massachusetts. It is named after its sponsor, TD Bank, a subsidiary of Canada's Toronto-Dominion Bank. The Garden is the home of the Boston Bruins of the NHL and the Boston Celtics of the NBA. It is the site of the annual Beanpot college hockey tournament and has also hosted many major national sporting events including NCAA Division I Men's Basketball, the Frozen Four, the 2014 United States Figure Skating Championships, the Stanley Cup Finals, NBA Finals, and the NA LCS 2017 Summer Split Finals. Since its grand opening in 1995, more than 30 million people have come to the TD Garden to see the arena's famous tenants, the Bruins and Celtics, as well as world-renowned concerts for artists like Justin Timberlake and Elton John, sporting events, family shows, wrestling, and ice shows. Also located in TD Garden is The Sports Museum, whose exhibits focus on the history of various sports in the Boston area, including the Boston Bruins, the Boston Celtics, the New England Patriots, and the Boston Red Sox. The TD Garden ticket office is open Mon - Fri: 10am - 6pm and is closed on weekends except on event days when it opens 3 hours prior to showtime.
